LIGHTING POLE PROTECTION UNIT
DESCRIPTION
The Lighting Pole Protection Unit (LPPU) detects earth leakage current using a Core
Balance Current Transformer (CBCT). In case of leakage, the unit disconnects the load and
automatically reconnects after the fault is cleared (auto-recloser function). Suitable for
single-phase 230 VAC systems.
FEATURES
- Detects the leakage current through the whole circuit and send a warning signal to the Lighting Control Panel (LCP) where the master communication module is located.
- Used for single phase power systems (Single Phase) 230VAC,50Hz.
- 3 LEDs show important status such as Leakage, Operating and Lantern Powered.
- 2 Test buttons on the front panel for Leakage test and Reset.
- Automatically reconnects the lamp circuit, once the leakage current has been fixed.
- Use the contacts of a large relay up to 16A at 250VAC which is connected to a lamp.
- Built-in RS485 communication
